Clothing fabrics:

Virka offers a variety of clothing fabrics. We have all the latest fashion trend fabrics, classic wool fabrics and a large collection of elegant party and dress up fabrics.

Glittering, simmering and colorful fabrics and accessories for professional and amateur dancers, are one of our specialties.

We also carry a wide range of fabrics for outdoor apparel, such as Polartec® fleece from Malden Mills, and is Virka one of few fabric shops in Europe that carries Polartec® .

Courses:

Courses are held regularly in patchwork, appliqué with a fusible web and doll making. They take place at our address in Mörkin 3, Reykjavík.

Weekend courses are held at Hotel Örk in Hveragerdi, they are from Friday afternoon to midday Sunday. The subject is always a surprise, the only guarantee being it's patchwork and it's fun
